Point Pleasant Borough Fire Company 2 also designated Ocean
County Sta. 41 is located in the town of Point Pleasant Borough.
We are an all volunteer fire dept. We run approx 400 calls a
year give or take a few. We cover approx 3 1/2 square miles.
There are two departments in the Borough of Point Pleasant.
Station 40 Point Pleasant Fire Co#1 and Point Pleasant Fire Co#2
Station 41. Both companys respond to all calls.The two companys
also operate a joint water rescue unit and dive team.
Point Pleasant
is a resort community which population can triple in ta three
month period in the summer. Point Pleasant is a sorounded by
water on three sides. The Barnegat Bay, Metedeconk River and
Beaver Dam Creek. On the east side of town in the borough of
Point Pleasant Beach which borders the Atlantic Ocean.
Our apparatus include 3 engines, 1 rescue, 1 chiefs vehicle, 1
assitant chiefs vehicle, a zodiac and rescue kakyak. We have
approx 36 active members. We also have an active explorer post
which has 5 members.
